SMS Opt-In & Consent

How users and customers opt in to SMS messaging across Drupefruit-operated products.

Effective date: April 26, 2026

Overview

Drupefruit™ LLC operates payment-enabled software products that use SMS for transactional and account-related messaging. All SMS sent by Drupefruit is transactional and account-related — we do not send marketing blasts or recurring promotional messages without explicit, separate consent.

Opt-In Flow: Account Holders

1

Sign up or sign in

When a user creates a Drupefruit account or signs in, they're prompted for an email address. They may also provide a mobile phone number to enable SMS-based account verification and notifications. Providing a phone number is optional.

2

Explicit SMS consent at the form

The signup and account-settings forms display the following disclosure adjacent to the phone-number field:

3

Verification SMS sent

Drupefruit sends a one-time verification code to the provided number. The user enters the code to confirm ownership of the phone number. Verified numbers may then receive ongoing transactional SMS as described in our SMS Terms.

Opt-In Flow: Booking Customers

When a business operating on a Drupefruit-built platform publishes a public booking page, customers who book an appointment can opt in to SMS confirmations.

1

Customer fills out the booking form

The booking form asks for name, contact info, and selected service/time. The phone-number field is optional but encouraged for SMS confirmation.

2

Explicit SMS consent

Adjacent to the phone-number field, the booking form displays:

3

Confirmation SMS

Once the booking is submitted, Drupefruit sends a single confirmation SMS to the customer with the appointment details and a reschedule/cancel link. Subsequent reminder SMSes (e.g. 24 hours and 1 hour before the appointment) are sent automatically unless the customer replies STOP.

Opt-Out

Recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any Drupefruit SMS. Drupefruit immediately ceases sending SMS to that number and confirms the opt-out with a single message. To get help, reply HELP or email support@drupefruit.com.

Records of Consent

Drupefruit retains records of opt-in events — including timestamp, source form, IP address, and the phone number provided — for the period required by applicable law and carrier messaging policies. Records are produced on request to verify opt-in status.
